The Golden Rule is an important rule to live by!
The Golden Rule is:
"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."
If you love and respect yourself, as we all should, we should want to be loved and respected by others too. Love and respect yourself, and live by this rule. In the priest's homily yesterday at the church I attend, he discussed how it is easy to love people who love you, but it is difficult to love an enemy. He then went on to say how we must love our enemies even if we don't like them and we aren't friends with them. Yes, we must not be in toxic friendships or any type of toxic relationship, but we must value each life, respect each other, and love each other. Let's use the Golden Rule in our everyday life!
