Let's play a quick game that will make your and others' day better!
Pick a number between 1 and 6...
Once you picked a number, scroll down and read the suggestion corresponding to your number. Follow the suggestion!
1: Hold the door for at least one person today. Make sure to smile too!
2: Start a gratitude journal if you don't already have one. At the beginning and end of your day, write at least 3 things you are grateful for, big or small.
3: Call a friend or family member that has made a positive impact in your life. Thank them and tell them how much you appreciate them.
4: If you go shopping today, start a conversation with the person at the register. Start by asking them how their day is going. Let the conversation naturally flow from there! If you don't end up going shopping today, try this with a stranger if it is safe. If you can't do either of these, plan to do this the next time you can.
5: Declutter an area of your house or room. Make sure to look for items to donate or give away! After you are done decluttering and donating, you will feel better! (Fun Fact: Waking up in a cluttered room is a source of stress and starts your day off on wrong footing - I'm not sure where I learned this)
6: Go for a walk in nature. Bonus points if you are able to get a friend or family member to join you. Extra bonus points if you are able to get multiple friends or family members to join you!
